Linlithgow AC made a successful return to East District League Cross Country on Saturday at Stirling.

Harry Pegg was first to run in the under 11s event, coming in 8th and covering the mile long course in five minutes and fifty one seconds, only 15 seconds off the winning time.  Cameron Mason (40th in the longer under 13s event) and Duncan Wilson (29th in the under 15s) ran brilliantly in their first cross country event.

Six senior runners made up the mens team (finish order John Redding, David Mason, Paul Dudchenko, Matt Richardson, Graham Burrows and Graeme Lawson) that finished 20th in a league that includes the giants of east and central Scotland's athletics clubs (some of which have ten times our membership).

Overall male standing for the club was 15th thanks to the fact that we were represented at all age groups except under 17.  A brilliant result for a small club punching above it's weight!  Well done to everyone who competed.  The next Cross Country fixture is in Livingston on Sunday 20th November.  Please come along to run or just cheer us on.
