Two Linlithgow Under 11s competed in squally conditions at the Livingston Open on Wednesday night.  Both were competing in outdoor track and field for the very first time, and both really enjoyed the experience.

First up Jamie Lumsden jumped 95cm in the High Jump.  Eoin then ran a wind-assisted 100m in 16.87 seconds, a clear winner in his heat.

Both Jamie and Eoin competed in the 800m, the last event of the evening with the weather deteriorating all the time.  They stuck together throughout the race from beginning to end with Eoin running 3:17.36 and Jamie 3:17.58.  2 PBs  each - roll on the Forth Valley League in a weeks time!

Well done Livingston AAC for the well organised enjoyable event.
