As a growing club looking towards gaining accreditation with our governing body, we are looking to implement a club structure as recommended by Scottish Athletics and spread some of the clubs day to day work around a little further. For this reason we have decided to expand our management committee to include the following roles.

Welfare Officer - an existing role currently being carried out by Ian Douglas, we are seeking a volunteer dedicated solely to this important role. You'd provide leadership in the safeguarding of children within the club and act as a key point of contact for anyone needing to support or guidance. You'd need to attend a safeguarding course annually.

Club Ambassador - you'd be responsible for recruiting club volunteers, arranging training for them and making sure they’re engaged enough to be retained by the club.

Communications coordinator - You'd will promote the club and its interests to members of the public, which will raise the profile of the club and athletics.

If you think that any of these roles would interest you, please respond to myself or Stuart Allan. Thanks for your support!
