A beautiful sunny morning greeted the 650 runners who gathered in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park on Saturday for a late season 10k. The perfect conditions and the fast parkland course made for a memorable event – it’s no wonder this well organised race sells out quickly.

Scott Hyslop was first to finish for Linlithgow Athletic Club in 39:00 mins for 63rd place, close to his personal best and signalling a return to form. Bryan Grome again showed how much his running has improved recently with a personal best of 45:44 in 219th place, knocking a whopping 42 seconds of his previous best. Bryan's hard work in training and his determination to achieve his targets is really paying off for him.

Over the shorter 5k distance at Edinburgh parkrun, Louisa Cockburn demonstrated a return to form with a 90 second PB over the Cramond course in her time of 23:44, for 160th (18th F) position. Darren Dick opted for Falkirk parkrun and was narrowly outside his PB with a time of 22:11, finishing in 30th place.
